• Manages the establishment, ongoing evaluation, and implementation of treatment programs, plans of care, goals and discharge plans related to Occupational Therapy needs in conjunction with the physician, making revisions when necessary
• Oversees direct patient care services to ensure the effectiveness of Occupational Therapy programs, through heat, light, water, and electrically based treatments/modalities (i.e., ultrasound, infra‑red lamp, muscle stimulation, traction, hot and cold packs, paraffin baths, whirlpool, diathermy, etc.) to stimulate muscle/nerve function and/or for pain management
• Ensures the management of plans, treatments, and travel times for maximum efficiency
• Monitors and controls all required documentation, ensuring records are written the day of service, reflecting the patient's current condition
• Ensures all assistants provide professional manner satisfying professional ethics, patient rights, and State and Federal codes and regulations
• Facilitates effective communication amongst other clinicians, assistants, and fellow staff providing care to the patient
• Manages the Occupational Therapy program with other appropriate healthcare providers/disciplines providing services to the patient
• Supervises interdisciplinary patient care conferences as applicable and maintains ongoing communication with all disciplines involved in the patient Plan of Care
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of the Mission, Purpose, and Philosophy

• Bachelor's degree required
• Must have Licensure
• Supervisory experience
