Overview
The Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology (BMCP) at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is seeking a psychologist to join the Pediatric Sleep Center. The full-time pediatric psychologist will work in a multidisciplinary setting and provide evidence-based evaluation, consultation and treatment to pediatric patients with complex sleep disorders.
The program includes board-certified sleep specialists and a collaborative team of psychologists, pulmonologists, neurologists, otolaryngologists, and an advanced practice nurse. Program growth has created the opportunity to expand our clinical faculty. The Sleep Center offers outpatient behavioral sleep medicine (BSM) services for children referred with insomnia, parasomnia, hypersomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, and sleep-disordered breathing. Academic and publication opportunities are available if the applicant is interested.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient behavioral sleep medicine (BSM) assessment and treatment for pediatric patients with a range of sleep concerns (insomnia, parasomnias, hypersomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, sleep-disordered breathing).
- Work in a multidisciplinary Sleep Center setting and collaborate with sleep specialists and other professionals.
- Engage in opportunities for teaching, scholarly activity, and potential publication.
- Doctorate in clinical or school psychology (APA-accredited).
- Licensed or license-eligible in Ohio and through PsyPACT.
- Completed postdoctoral training focused on child clinical/pediatric psychology.
- Formal BSM training is preferred.
- Our robust BSM training program supports junior faculty gaining competency in behavioral sleep medicine.
