American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Long Term Care skilled nursing facility, requiring 2+ years of experience and a TX or compact license.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years of PTA experience required
- TX or compact license required (license required if applicable)
- Long Term Care skilled nursing facility setting within the Physical Therapy unit
- Day shift schedule at 8 hours per shift
- No weekend or on- call requirements
- Provide treatment under the direction and supervision of physical therapists using exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions
- Record patient progress and report treatment outcomes to supervising physical therapists
- Work in a warm, home-like rehabilitative setting focused on personalized patient care plans
