American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of LTC experience for a skilled nursing facility position.
Requirements- Current TX Speech-Language Pathology license required if applicable
- At least 2 years of SLP experience in a long-term care setting
- Long-term care skilled nursing facility setting
- Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
- Compact license accepted
- Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and decrease aspiration risk
- Design communication strategies to help residents be better understood and better understand others
- Lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services within the facility
- Ensure services comply with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures
