American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience for a long-term care facility, requiring a TX license.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
- Valid TX state license required if applicable
- License required if applicable
- Long-term care skilled nursing facility setting
- Days shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
- Compact license accepted
- Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and decrease aspiration risk
- Design communication strategies to help residents be better understood and better understand others
- Lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure compliance with established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate resident care
