Responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to patients to promote independence and improve quality of life.
- Utilizing current equipment and technology to ensure effective treatment.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and caregivers to support treatment plans.
- Current state licensure or certification where applicable.
- Effective communication skills for patient and team interaction.
- Successful completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program (preferred).
- CPR certification is preferred unless mandated by hospital policy.
- Ability to demonstrate competency in occupational therapy treatment.
- Desire to make a positive impact in patients’ lives.
