Description

The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

• Coursework/Training:
  Current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT)

• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS
  - American Heart Association

• Upon hire:
  National Certified Patient Care Technician
  - National Association for Health Professionals or

• Upon hire:
  National Certified Patient Care Technician
  - National Center for Competency Testing or

• Upon hire:
  National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant
  - National Health career Association

• H.S. Diploma or GED

• 6 months PCT experience in an acute care setting

• 6 months phlebotomy experience

These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
