Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Crockett, TX | Long Term Care

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist
• Record patients' progress accurately and report the results of each treatment session to the supervising physical therapist
• Proactively build and manage caseloads using available patient referrals and treatment opportunities while meeting the facility's productivity expectations
• Make reasonable efforts to reschedule or complete treatment sessions when clinically appropriate if a session is missed or shortened
• Communicate any barriers to completing treatment to facility leadership in a timely manner

• Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience — Required
• Active Texas PTA license or compact license — Required

• Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Familiarity with productivity expectations and caseload management in a travel or contract setting

• Work in a warm, supportive care environment focused on personalized rehabilitation and meaningful patient outcomes
• Expected hours are provided when the traveler remains onsite and available, offering schedule stability throughout the assignment
