Job Title: DC Operations Engineer – Networking Focus

Location: Rochdale, TX

The DC Ops Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining data center operations with a strong focus on networking infrastructure. The role requires hands-on experience with DC technologies, network troubleshooting, and collaboration with IT teams to ensure high availability and performance of services.

• Operate, monitor, and maintain data center infrastructure including servers, storage, and networking devices.
• Implement and manage network configurations
  , including LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure continuous uptime
  .
• Coordinate with IT and application teams for deployment, patching, and upgrades
  .
• Maintain documentation of network and DC operations, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in incident response and disaster recovery activities.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching).
• Hands‑on experience with network hardware and data center equipment

• Knowledge of network monitoring tools and DC operations management.
• Experience in troubleshooting and performance optimization in DC environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in cloud integration or hybrid DC environments

• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP
  , CompTIA Network
  , or Data Center‑related certifications
  .
• Exposure to automation or scripting for operational tasks (Power Shell, Python, Ansible).
