OverviewHelp Desk is an entry-level position on the IT Team at SDI Southwest Division
Responsibilities- Installation and maintenance of all computer hardware and software
- Assisting with the support of all aspects of LAN-based networking
- Assisting with the installation and maintenance of voice systems; usually limited to cabling, phones, headsets and software
- Assisting with the cabling in new and existing locations for network, computers, phones or other equipment such as printers
- Repairing or upgrading computer systems as needed
- Providing Tier 1 level support on hardware and software technical issues
- Assisting with modification of Active Directory users, groups, and permissions
- Creation, updating and management of computer images
- Prepare documentation to assist end-user adoption of new and existing tools
- Work in the ticketing tool fulfilling all end-user incidents and requests in compliance with agreed SLA's
- Manage the computer equipment inventory
- Any other duties as assigned by the IT Supervisor
- Provide on-call 24/7 support in case of emergency
- Must be a computer course student, graduate, or have computer-related work experience
- Knowledge of Windows 11 required, Servers 2022 and above preferred
- Computer certifications o Comp Tia A+ or Simila
- Customer Service Oriented

- Proactive and Self Driven
- Team working
- Computer Certifications o Comp Tia Network+ o Comp Tia Security + o Or similar (Google)
