Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and price new and renewal Excess Casualty business
- Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale brokers and producers
- Analyze complex risks and determine pricing, coverage structures, terms, and conditions
- Drive profitable new business production within an assigned territory
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio while maintaining underwriting profitability
- Collaborate with internal underwriting and leadership teams to deliver creative risk solutions
- 7-10 years of Excess Casualty underwriting experience
- Must have E&S (Excess & Surplus) underwriting experience
- Strong Excess Casualty or Specialty Casualty background
- Established relationships within the wholesale brokerage community
- Proven track record of growing and managing a profitable book of business
- Strong production mindset and broker development experience
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Experience working closely with wholesale brokers and producers
