Somerville ISD - Director of Communications
Description/Notes: Primary
Purpose:
Promote positive public relations between the school district and community.
Prepare and provide information to the public about the activities, goals, policies, and bond program of the school district.
Distribute pertinent information about the district and its activities to employees.
Lead and coordinate communications related to the voter‑approved bond, including construction progress updates, stakeholder engagement, and transparency reporting.
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience
