Operations Manager
Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for delivering performance targets in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Reliability for all production lines. Lead and develop the Line Supervisors/Team Managers to achieve and sustain operational excellence through effective coaching, continuous improvement initiatives, and adherence to company standards. Build organizational capability to drive and maintain improvements in performance and efficiency.
PositionEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate line leadership to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals.
- Set clear expectations, ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and company policies.
- Plan and oversee daily/weekly/monthly production, ensuring smooth operations and quick issue resolution.
- Monitor KPIs and financial performance; drive cost control, efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts (e.g., AM, FI, STPD).
- Build and develop a high‑performing team through recruiting, training, coaching, and cross‑functional development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with site leadership, maintenance, engineering, and quality to resolve challenges and support new processes, equipment, and product launches.
- Participate in strategic planning to align production with long‑term site objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications Education- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, etc.) required.
- Internal candidates may qualify if actively enrolled in a STEM program.
- 7+ years manufacturing leadership experience (5+ years for internal candidates), preferably in the food industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations preferred.
- Willingness to relocate for advancement opportunities.
