Job Functions and

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain proper function of plant equipment including high‑speed and low‑speed reciprocating compressors, air compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, and related machinery.
  • Operate equipment startup and shutdown procedures for individual units and processes.
  • Monitor the use of utilities, fuel, chemicals, and lubricants to prevent excessive consumption.
  • Identify dangerous or emergency conditions, execute shutdown procedures, and protect personnel and equipment.
  • Detect equipment malfunctions and perform corrective maintenance.
  • Maintain lubricant, fluid, and chemical levels and refill as needed.
  • Generate work orders in MAXIMO for routine and major maintenance tasks.
  • Operate field amine and glycol treating units.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Essential Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills for interfacing with teams, personnel, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and a strong work ethic.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to call‑outs as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in changing climate conditions and close quarters (kneeling, squatting, climbing, standing).
  • Adherence to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (e.g., eye protection, footwear, NOMEX).
  • Regular, reliable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience operating and maintaining mechanical equipment and processes listed in the job duties.
  • Experience with Waukesha Pearce, Caterpillar 3600/3601, or Ariel compressors.
