Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician based out of our Kopperl, Texas plant
. In this role you will support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment regulated by MSHA safety standards. As an Equipment Tech
, you will work on preventive maintenance on equipment to keep the plant running and meet daily production.

• Actively promotes a strong safety culture by encouraging safety awareness and recognizing safe work practices.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of preventive maintenance for production equipment and plant systems.
• Clean equipment and maintain orderly work areas by removing debris and clearing obstacles.
• Perform general plant maintenance, including basic welding and repair work.
• Participate in safety committee initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Comply with all company, industry, and applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of work areas to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain effective communication with plant operators, technicians, and other team members.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support plant operations.

• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Positive, Team-based attitude.
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experienced welder.
• Read and interpret schematics and manuals to understand the technical aspects of equipment and perform repairs accurately.
• Inspect and maintain production equipment such as conveyors and rollers.
• 3 years of experience with equipment or plant maintenance.

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
