QA Tester – Manufacturing

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility. The QA Tester will ensure that product meet all safety, durability, and quality standards through hands-on product testing, inspections, and documentation. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual and functional inspections of product during and after production.
• Perform quality tests such as tensile strength, puncture resistance, tear resistance, thickness, and elasticity.
• Document test results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify defects or non-conformities and communicate findings to production and quality teams.
• Work closely with production staff to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Verify compliance with customer specifications, OSHA, and ISO quality standards.
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred).
• Experience in quality assurance or testing within a manufacturing environment, preferably.
• Familiarity with quality testing equipment and inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized testing procedures.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing and laboratory setting with exposure to raw materials, production machinery, and testing equipment.
• Requires standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
