The Maintenance and Operations Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering groups (covering routine maintenance, as well as R&M projects) daily, weekly and long term maintenance activities, and inspection items, to ensure minimum disruption to plant availability and to ensure safe job methods and plans.

Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in Daily Approval and Daily Scheduling Meetings.
  • Actively review Company Maintenance Backlog to ensure timely completion of all work.
  • Participates in work prioritization to ensure it aligns with Company goals.
  • Participates in operational reliability improvement teams (PLAS, RCA).
  • Plans all activities through the Company’s SAP System.
  • Provides daily updates to the Managers, as needed.
  • Provides technical support and problem-solving techniques to Operations and Maintenance on a continual basis.
  • Provides technical support to Maintenance Planners.
  • Responsible for implementation of changes ensuring the Company requirements are met.
  • Complete annual OSHA required safety training.
  • Must be member of A/ERT and attend trainings, and respond to emergency situations,
  • Follow all safety guidelines and policy and procedure.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing, and create presentations.
  • Work with vendors, customers, and employees.
  • On call 24/7 to support operations/maintenance to include off shift hours.
What You Will Need
  • High School Diploma and 6 years related experience OR Associate's degree and 5 years’ experience OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years related experience OR Master’s degree.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures, and problem solving techniques.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Software such as Word, Excel and Outlook
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years related experience OR Master’s degree plus 1 year related experience
  • 1 year of SAP experience
  • Dairy experience
Physical Demands & Work Environment

The role has periods of time when the work environment is sedentary and conducted in an office environment balanced with frequent occasions that require prolonged walking or standing, lifting/ carrying/handling moderate weight objects on a regular basis. Is required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments in both temperature controlled and uncontrolled locations. Must frequently interact with people verbally.
