Put your welding skills to work on real structural steel, including bridge components, for top pay in Hutchins.

What You'll Do:
  • Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components into structural forms such as bridge components and structural steel bridge parts.
  • Read shop drawings and weld fillet gauges to plan layout, assembly, and welding.
  • Position, align, and fit components, then bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them for welding.
  • Set up equipment and weld parts in normal and out-of-position work, including vertical plate and tubular.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
    • What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of 5 years welding experience, ideally with structural steel or bridge components.
  • Ability to read shop drawings and weld fillet gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

    • Pay: $23-25/hr
