Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime may be required)

Pay:
Starting at $16.00/hour + DOE (Depending on Experience)

VSSI Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Sandblast & Paint Associate for a manufacturing company in Hempstead, TX. This position is ideal for candidates with industrial sandblasting and painting experience who take pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Perform industrial sandblasting and surface preparation on manufactured parts and equipment.
• Apply industrial coatings and paint according to specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect surfaces before and after painting to ensure proper finish and coverage.
• Operate sandblasting and painting equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.

• Previous industrial sandblasting and painting experience required.
• Manufacturing or machine shop experience required.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.l
• Dependable with a solid work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Work in a manufacturing and machine shop environment.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators and protective equipment as needed.
