Austin American Technology Corp is looking for a skilled Plastic Welder and Fabricator to join our team in Burnet, TX. This is a hands-on role where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will directly contribute to the quality products we deliver to our customers. Responsibilities:- Perform plastic welding using techniques such as hot gas, extrusion, or ultrasonic welding on a variety of thermoplastic materials
- Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble plastic components according to blueprints, drawings, or specifications
- Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
- Operate and maintain fabrication equipment including saws, routers, heat benders, and welding tools
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders
- Troubleshoot and repair plastic assemblies and components as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards
- Prior experience in plastic welding and fabrication required
- Proficiency with thermoplastics such as PVC, HDPE, polypropylene, or acrylic
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Experience operating fabrication tools including heat guns, welding rods, and cutting equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a safety-first mindset
