Description

Infusion RN - Chemotherapy

The Infusion RN has knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices. The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.

  • This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled
  • Work Status Available:
  • Full-Time, Day
  • Per Diem / On Call,Day
  • Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies

Required Qualifications:

  • Nursing degree/diploma
  • Upon hire:
    Texas Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire:
    National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 1 year of hire: ALS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 12 cancer-related CE's after hire -OR-
  • OCN certification after hire
  • 1 year Nursing.
  • 1 year Oncology experience.
  • Chemotherapy administration experience.
