Position:
Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery

Position Overview:

Provide care for patients utilizing fetal and maternal monitoring equipment.

Manage the patient's pain including epidural and patient controlled analgesia administration.

Assist physician during delivery, treatment, examination and surgical procedures.

Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.

Provide patient and family education on labor, pain and newborn care.

As a Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model.

Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• A current and valid nursing license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
