Director of Nursing; DON

We are seeking a seasoned and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team at Avir  a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and strategic direction of our nursing department.

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to our nursing department, ensuring alignment with our organization's goals and values

• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high-quality patient care and safety

• Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and excellent communication among nursing staff

• Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and implement plans to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and guidance to nursing staff to ensure professional growth and development

• Develop and manage departmental budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use of assets and allocation of funds

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Current RN license

• At least years of experience in a nursing leadership role

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
