Responsible for the maintenance of commercial landscapes.

• Commercial landscape experience preferred, but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License issued from state of employment required.

• Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong commitment to high quality of work and customer service.
• Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks.
• Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

• Constantly required to talk, hear, see, stand and walk.
• Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Frequently exposed to loud noise levels.

• Maintain job site as instructed by Foreman. Possible duties include, but are not limited to mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, trimming and hand pruning.
• Safe operation of equipment, including: 21” and 36” mowers; power hedge trimmers; power shears; backpack blower; aerator.
• Trimming of shrubbery with hedge trimmers.
• Basic understanding of Plant .
• Basic hand pruning skills.
• Basic skill in shearing shrubs and hedges.
• Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance with Monarch Safety Policy.
• Abide by Monarch code of conduct at all times.
• Shows up to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wears clean clothes to work each day; follows inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
