Groundskeeper

Full Time Groundskeeper

We are currently taking applications for a Full Time Groundskeeper for a large ranch located on the southwest side of San Saba County, working with a two-man crew.

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and overall condition of outdoor grounds and landscaped areas. This role includes routine lawn care, landscaping, debris removal, and minor maintenance tasks to ensure the grounds are clean, healthy, and visually appealing.

• Mow, edge, trim, and fertilize lawns
• Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping
• Remove weeds, leaves, litter, and debris from grounds
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Perform basic irrigation system checks and adjustments
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers safely, following guidelines
• Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or needed repairs
• Assist with setup and cleanup for outdoor events as needed
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance experience is a plus
• Knowledge of basic lawn care, plants, and landscaping techniques
• Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and machinery
• Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
