Quality Specialist - Layered Process Audits

Location: Olney, TX
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000 to $80,000 per year, plus annual bonus up to 40% paid quarterly

Be the backbone of the quality system at a growing aerospace manufacturer, auditing processes and building a culture of quality on the floor.

• 3+ years of manufacturing or aerospace quality experience
• Hands-on manufacturing process auditing experience
  , including Layered Process Audits (LPAs)
• Experience with quality systems
  , first piece approvals, and quality gates
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfort coaching operators and supervisors

• Perform layered process audits and manufacturing process audits
• Conduct first piece approvals and process verifications
• Execute quality gate checks throughout production
• Support containment of nonconforming product
• Verify corrective actions are implemented and effective
• Monitor compliance with manufacturing procedures
• Support SMS implementation and compliance
• Coach operators and supervisors on quality requirements
• Participate in root cause and continuous improvement projects

• AS9100 knowledge
• Associate’s degree
• Aerospace manufacturing experience

• $70,000 to $80,000 per year
• Annual bonus up to 40%, paid quarterly
• Two 2-week company shutdowns per year (July and December)
