Job DescriptionPrimary
Purpose:
Perform routine food preparation, service, and kitchen maintenance tasks to support campus food services operations. Assist with preparing appropriate quantities of food, serve meals efficiently to meet established time constraints, and ensure all tasks follow safe food handling standards.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or GED
- Food Handler's Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
- Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and appliances used in food preparation
- Knowledge of food handler safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
- Prior experience in food service or kitchen operations preferred but no required
