The cashiers work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places while providing friendly, accurate service for customers. Training is available; prior experience is not required. Flexibility and teamwork are important to meet business needs.

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balance a cash register by completing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products.
• Maintain cleanliness of your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Cross training opportunities in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Physical ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
