* Job Summary:

** Prepares hot and cold deli food, as well as catering and delivery orders. Promotes customer service by taking and filling customer order requests and maintaining attractive product presentation.
*
* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Prepares hot and cold deli food such as breakfast foods, hot foods, steam table foods, rotisserie chicken, and fried chicken.
* Fills catering orders and ensures portion control.
* Ensures food handling and food safety procedures are adhered to. Stocks, rotates, and monitors product temperatures before and after cooking.
* Makes judgements about flavor, taste, aroma, colors, texture, or smoothness of products in order to inspect products for satisfactory production quality.
* Maintains attractive product presentation by arranging items for display.
* Provides friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions and taking orders by phone and in person.
* Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives and product arrangement.
* Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.

* Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

*** Ability to read and operate digital equipment, meters, dials, and/or calibrated scales.
* Ability to safely operate hazardous tools and equipment such as a slicer, deep fryer, etc.
* Ability to learn new systems, methods, or processes.
* Ability to use non-precision and precision hand tools.
* Ability to work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment.
* Ability to effectively communicate with customers and partners in written and verbal form.
* Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
* Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.
** Education,

Experience and Qualifications:

*** Minimum of 18 years of age required.
* Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
* Six months related work experience required.
* Food Handler certification required.
** Physical Demands:
