Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team. Pay range: $13.00 to $19.00 per hour
. We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction processed and an opportunity to earn commission on top of your hourly rate.
Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.93 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/3rd key experience. The Assistant Store Manager is accountable for day-to-day store operations and fostering a positive environment. This role partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage Customer Relations and Customer Satisfaction. The position sets the tone for a customer-centric environment.
In partnership with the Store Manager, this role analyzes store financial statements to meet financial goals. You will contribute to asset protection, promote the business, and target new customer acquisition. Employees work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
This position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance. Actual pay will depend on location, qualifications, and experience.
ResponsibilitiesThe following are representative duties and may not be all-inclusive:
- Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and follow procedures to protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested.
- Communicate clearly with employees to align with store mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, lifting).
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
