Inside Sales Representative
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for accepting incoming calls and making outgoing calls to provide pricing and availability, take orders, and handle issues. The CSR should establish themselves as the key contact within Pipeline Plastics for their accounts.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and deal with or direct customer problems to the proper person or department for resolution.
- Confirmation of customer order.
- Customer order maintenance.
- Obtain frequently required information from customers regarding forecasting, competition, and product surveys.
- Build relationships with all customers, specifically the decision-makers, and Outside Sales Reps.
- Adhere to Quality, ISO 14001.
- Provide pricing and availability of products to customers.
- Pricing and building of unique customer requirements.
- Initiate customer contact through telephone calls, marketing surveys, or sale leads in advertising.
- Complete necessary paperwork for unauthorized deductions and credit with assistance as required.
- Special projects as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of sales experience supporting a manufacturing operation.
- Piping system knowledge is preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to solve customer issues.
- Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management principles and techniques.
- General understanding of local shipping regulations.
- Basic knowledge of competitors is preferred.
- Good verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Previous customer service and/or warehouse experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, phone, and email etiquette.
- Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced office environment.
- Proficient sales skills, working with all levels of sales and distribution channels.
- Basic/intermediate mathematical skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in an open office environment.
Grand Prairie, TX $70,000.00–$80,000.00
