Strapper Tarper

Location: Brookshire

The goal of this position is to ensure all loads are strapped and tarped to safety regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Straps loads to flat bed trailers.

* Tarps loads to flat bed trailers.

* Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel.

* Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

* Pass required drug/alcohol test

* Able to handle equipment including chains, straps, tarps, tiedowns, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Seeing and hearing:
Read documents, computer screen answer phones, 50-74 %

communicate in person.

Standing and walking. 75-100 %

Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling. 75-100 %

Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, and writing. 0-24 %

Lift in excess of 125 pounds. 75-100 %
