As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics Hub in Schertz, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to support site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as necessary to address security-related issues or emergencies.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific procedures and emergency response activities to assist in the protection of people and property.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
