• The Security Advisor will support the Golden Pass Export / Import Terminal Facilities, Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) Stabilization & Liquefaction Trains, and Pipeline Facilities.
• Responsible for complying with Golden Pass LNG security policies, procedures, and directives.

• Develop and implement security procedures consistent with Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) and best industry practices.
• Enhance ongoing security awareness and education programs.
• Report observed violations of Golden Pass LNG policies and procedures.
• Provide response and notification and direct all administrative inquiries and incident reporting.
• Prepare and maintain official records auditable by US Government representatives.
• Ensure security equipment is properly operated, tested, calibrated, and maintained.
• Participate in emergency drills and exercises and provide basic First Aid, CPR and AED per site, as applicable.
• Protect Golden Pass LNG’s physical properties against unauthorized entry, theft, sabotage, fire, subversive, or similar activities.
• Protect employees, contractors, and visitors’ personal property in so far as practicable.
• Ensure adequate training to personnel performing security duties.
• Ensure the security awareness and vigilance of the facility personnel.
• Knowledge of security regulations are desirable (e.g., USCG, DHS, TWIC, PHMSA).

• Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
• Military or Law Enforcement background is a plus.
• Experience managing contract security is a plus.

• High School Diploma.

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Security, Safety, Environmental, Health &/or Regulatory Compliance Field in the Oil & Gas Industry.

• Verbal communication in emergencies.
• Experience managing contract security at an oil and gas facility.
• Emergency preparedness and response for MTSA facility.
• Handle sensitive security information and communications.
• Self-starter, team-based environment.
• Facilitate progression of team through complex analysis reviews.
• Safety sensitivity in hazardous environment.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to work with culturally diverse team of technical individuals.
• Organized, planning and management skills.
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
• Computer savvy including Microsoft Office Suite.

• State Issued Current and Valid Driver’s License.
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
• Facility Security Officer Certified.

• Combination of office and field environment.
• Field environment physical requirements such as lifting, climbing, walking, standing, kneeling, etc.
