As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

  Full-time Mon‑Fri 5am‑2pm
• Competitive hourly wage of $17.00 (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Create all badges for visitors and employees (Experience preferred)
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property
• Accurately verify identification and documentation
• Model strong interpersonal skills to interact with employees, visitors, and contractors
• Create badges using badge management systems and intermediate computer applications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• Have a state license
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with no restriction B and clean driving record
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Have reliable transportation
• Able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
• Computer and social skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Data Entry)
• Badging experience (preferred)
• Willingness to work odd hours and under pressure
