As a Security Officer in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener within a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with individuals and provide outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any observed irregularities.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of all activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with team members, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible security-related presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
