Security Alarm Technician

* Job Description
* We are seeking
* Security System Technicians
* to pre-wire and install security systems, including
* Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarms*. Technicians will collaborate with other techs and Project Managers to complete and file all project documentation accurately. Work will involve a variety of
* commercial installations
* such as hospitals, airports, and corporate offices.

* Responsibilities:
* * Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security systems at customer sites.

* Installation includes (but is not limited to):

* Video Surveillance systems (IP and Analog cameras, wireless)

* Access Control panels

* Intrusion Panels

* Magnetic locks, card readers, motion sensors, door contacts, electric door strikes

* Complete assigned projects within scope, on time, and on budget.

* Provide customers with system operation and training.

* Maintain detailed daily records and adhere to operational standards.

* Coordinate with Project Management and Field Technicians for scheduling.

* PPE Requirements
* Before starting, technicians must have:

* Hard hat with chin straps (cost ranges $20-$200)

* Safety glasses

* Steel-toed shoes

* Safety vest

* Physical Demands
* * Regular standing, climbing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and stooping.

* Frequent use of hands for handling tools and typing.

* Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.

* Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

* Use of power tools required.

* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Claude, TX.

* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
