Security Alarm Technician

Overview

We are seeking Security System Technicians to pre‑wire and install security systems, including Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarms
. Technicians will collaborate with other techs and Project Managers to complete and file all project documentation accurately. Work will involve a variety of commercial installations such as hospitals, airports, and corporate offices.

• Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security systems at customer sites.
• Installation includes (but is not limited to):
  Video Surveillance systems (IP and Analog cameras, wireless)
• Access Control panels
• Intrusion Panels
• Magnetic locks, card readers, motion sensors, door contacts, electric door strikes
• Complete assigned projects within scope, on time, and on budget.
• Provide customers with system operation and training.
• Maintain detailed daily records and adhere to operational standards.
• Coordinate with Project Management and Field Technicians for scheduling.

• Access Control installation
• Alarm installation

• Hard hat with chin straps (cost ranges $20‑$200)
• Safety glasses
• Steel‑toed shoes
• Safety vest

• Regular standing, climbing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and stooping.
• Frequent use of hands for handling tools and typing.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Use of power tools required.

Expert Level

Contract to Hire position based out of Claude, TX.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $27.00/hr benefits are subject to change and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Eligible benefits may include:
