Tesla is looking for a Carpenter to join our large-scale EPC project team. This role requires exceptional talent and offers a fast-paced, exciting environment. • Minimum of 5+ years of verifiable experience as a Journeyman Carpenter (applicants with less than 5 years will be assessed for experience level and considered)
• Read and understand drawings and specifications, and contribute to creating as-built drawings
• Install and properly align door frames and hardware, ensuring all components are secure and functional
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of job site safety, with the ability to evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning, focusing on hazard identification
• Ability to work at heights up to 80 ft.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, interact effectively with all levels of management, show initiative, and work independently or collaboratively as needed
• Extensive experience with hand and power tools

• Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based on drawings or field observations
• Capability to create as-built drawings for completed work
• Experience in measuring, cutting, and installing door frames and hardware preferred
• Proficiency in fitting and adjusting doors, including the installation of hinges, locks, and other hardware a plus
• Flexibility to complete job scopes outside of typical core competencies as required
• Lead small construction projects and communicate schedule estimates, progress, and impacts
• Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts
