Location: Sinton
Electrical Technician
Working with the Hot Mill Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, Electrical Lead, and Shift Electricians to ensure the effective maintenance and optimization of electrical systems, with a primary focus on safety and operational reliability.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the installation and optimization of both new installations and current equipment
- Assist with troubleshooting and repair of current systems
- Maintain general housekeeping standards
- Verify monitoring equipment
- Assist in calibrations
- Support in crane troubleshooting and repairs
- Work with Level 1 Engineer on HMIs/PLCs/Drives
- Understand and follow safety protocols, including Red Zone, 20-foot Rule, Cardinal Safety Rules, Electrical Safety practice
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems
- Experience with overhead cranes
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming
- Understanding of mobile equipment
- Proven commitment to safety and attendance
- Electrical maintenance experience
- Basic computer proficiency
Self-motivated and initiative-driven - Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Positive and team-oriented attitude
