Base pay range$20.00/hr - $20.00/hr
ARG PETRO, a well‑established wholesale fuel and lubricant company with over 82 years in the industry, is currently seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support ongoing operations. This hands‑on role is ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude and experience in equipment repair, fuel system installations, and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer locations to perform equipment repairs and servicing as needed.
- Conduct repairs at the maintenance shop on pumps, meters, tanks, and other fuel/lubricant‑related equipment.
- Recondition used tanks, including washing, painting, and performing necessary repairs.
- Assemble tanks for outgoing delivery, installing all required fittings and accessories.
- Assist with or lead tank installation projects, including setup of concrete pads, containment walls, card readers, and pumps.
- Operate the bucket truck safely and efficiently when required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or related mechanical trade.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with fuel systems, pumps, meters, and storage tanks preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Must be able to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to operate or willingness to be trained on operating bucket trucks and other equipment.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks regularly.
