Repair Technician - Crosby, TX

JOB TITLE - Repair Technician

Applicant is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of various types of rotating machinery, including pumps, turbines and motors. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment in industrial settings.

• Conduct regular inspections/ preventative maintenance on rotating equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs as necessary
• Install/align equipment according to specifications
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal equipment functionality
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards in all maintenance activities

• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

• Associate's degree - Mechanical Engineering and technology or related field - Required

• 3
  -5 years - Experience in maintenance and repair of rotating equipment - Required

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with alignment tools and techniques
• Knowledge of bearing and seal types and their applications
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations
