Dilley Frac Tech

Position Summary The Frac Tech supports Qwik Pipe's water transfer operations on frac locations. This hands-on field role lays and picks up layflat hose, sets and runs pumps, generators and other equipment, and watches operations to keep water moving safely and efficiently. Frac Techs work as part of a crew in all weather conditions, communicate constantly with coworkers on location, and follow strict safety and PPE procedures to keep themselves, their crew and the job site safe.

Key Responsibilities Hose & Equipment Operations Lay and pick up layflat hose at job locations

Set, run and service pumps of all sizes, generators and other essential equipment

Watch machine operations, including gauges and pumps, and adjust controls to maintain required conditions

Loading & Transport Load and unload layflat hose, field materials and equipment onto trailers and trucks

Drive trucks and other vehicles to move equipment and personnel and to perform job tasks

Tools & Field Work Use common hand and power tools such as impact drills, saws, wrenches and other small tools

Help with containment and spill cleanup as needed

Safety & Communication Follow all safety procedures and wear the proper PPE for each job task Communicate clearly with other workers by cell phone, radio or hand signals

Attend and complete OSHA, DOT and safety training as needed

Required

At least 1 year of oilfield, frac or water transfer field experience

Valid driver's license [and acceptable driving record]Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening

Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on location for extended shifts

Able to follow safety procedures and wear required PPEGood communication skills and able to work as part of a crew

Preferred

Experience running pumps, generators or similar field equipment

Current OSHA or other safety certifications

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Regularly lift, carry, push and pull up to [50] lbs.

Stand, walk, bend, kneel and climb for long periods on uneven ground

Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, dust and noise
