Level 1 Fiber Technician

Level 1 technicians and Lead Technicians needed. We are open to candidates who are:

• Former military experience, veterans who are able to complete a 2 week Fiber Optics installation boot camp
• Candidates who have completed a training class in the fiber optics and datacenter building phase
• Lead Level Techs
• Candidates who have previous experience installing fiber optics equipment, ability to supervise teams of techs, with experience in data center build projects.

The Role:

6 months of work in the IES site at the Google Data Center construction site Installing data center cabling and equipment - fiber optics, racks, cable trays Preparing equipment ready for installation into new build data centers.

Entry Level

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Haskell, TX.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
