** Qualifications and Education Requirements
*** High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in equipment operation preferred.
* Minimum of
** 2 years of experience
** operating heavy equipment in electrical utility, powerline, or construction environments.
* Demonstrated proficiency operating bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, and related equipment.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures related to equipment operation and overhead line work.
* ** Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required; ability to obtain and maintain a CDL if required.**
* ** Ability to successfully pass a background check, pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
*** Excellent communication skills and ability to follow direction.
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including remote or rugged terrain.
* Ability to work rotating schedules, extended hours, and emergency call-outs as required.
* ** Journeyman Electrical Distribution Systems License (EL-1J) preferred but not required**, depending on role assignment.
** Work Environment
*** This position is primarily field-based and performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* This is a full-time position with work hours that may vary based on operational and project demands.
