Night Shift Mechanic Trainee

** What You'll Be Doing*
* + Assist experienced mechanics with inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing quarry equipment and mobile machinery.

+ Perform preventive maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and other production equipment.

+ Learn safe maintenance practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and equipment operating standards.

+ Support equipment reliability by identifying maintenance needs and reporting mechanical issues promptly.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while contributing to efficient quarry operations.

** What Are We Looking For*
* + Mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning equipment maintenance and repair in an industrial environment.

+ Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment under supervision.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new mechanical systems and maintenance practices.

+ Dependable team player with effective communication skills and a commitment to safety.

+ Ability to follow instructions, work independently when needed, and adapt to changing operational priorities.

** Conditions of Employment*
* + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

+ Must be authorized to work in the United States and comply with all company safety requirements and policies.

** Work Environment*
* + Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

** Physical Demands of the Job*
* + Frequently stand, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and work on uneven terrain.

+ Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

+ Perform bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting throughout the workday.

+ Work at varying heights and in confined spaces while following safety procedures.

+ Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment requiring manual dexterity and coordination.

+ Maintain visual and auditory awareness to safely work around heavy equipment and moving machinery.
