Concrete Carpenter

About this role Looking for an experienced concrete carpenter to join a project in Seymour, TX. This is a hands-on role for someone with at least 5 years of concrete and formwork experience - building and stripping forms, setting and tying rebar, placing and finishing concrete. Work is project-based at an outdoor construction site. You must be able to read drawings, measure and cut accurately, work long days when needed, and follow site safety rules.

Per diem is provided for this assignment.

What you'll doLay out, build and brace formwork for columns, walls, slabs and footings per drawings

Set, cut, bend and tie rebar to required placement and clearances

Handle concrete placement and pouring operations, including pump and hand placement

Perform concrete finishing: screeding, bull floating, troweling and surface texturing

Strip and remove forms safely and prepare surfaces for follow trades

Maintain tools, equipment and work area; follow site safety and housekeeping rules

What we're looking for5+ years hands-on concrete carpentry and formwork experience

Proven skill with form building, stripping, pouring and finishing concrete

Experienced cutting, bending and tying rebar to layout specifications

Able to read and follow construction drawings and layout marks

Physically fit for repetitive lifting, standing and working in variable weather

Reliable attendance, punctuality and good communication on site

QualificationsOSHA 10-hour construction card (preferred)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Proven concrete finishing and rebar experience (documentation or references)
Ability to read basic construction drawings and layout plans

Comfortable communicating in English on the jobsite
