Description:
We are seeking a strong Software Engineer with expert-level C++ programming skills and expert-level Object-Oriented Design skills for a 1-year contract with potential to extend. This opportunity offers an innovative and dynamic work environment where you will tackle challenging technical problems within an enterprise team.

Required skills:

• Knowledge and understanding of C++11 constructs.
• Experience in using STL, Boost, QT libraries.
• Experience in designing and developing libraries and APIs.
• Experience in seismic or geoscience domain is a plus.
• Parallel programming skills in HPC environments (MPI or OpenMP).
• Understanding of software implementation on hardware and its performance implications.
• Experience with code complexity management.
• Thorough understanding of Linux.
• Experience in open source development projects is a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Ability to design software and integrate within existing frameworks.
• Ability to understand and extend existing framework designs.
• Ability to implement based on prescribed designs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
