• Performs a complete safety and mechanical check of the Yard truck and trailers to be moved.
• Climbs up into cab, drives to trailers, backs up to the trailer, raises 5 th wheel, makes connections, climbs down to remove wheel chock, climb up into cab and drives away.
• Backs the trailer into the designed spot, disconnects the trailer, installs chocks.
• Drives forklift to make up cross dock loads.
• Perform housekeeping duties, keep floors clean, and keep work areas neat and clean.

• Be a safety champion by promoting a safe and productive workplace through your own actions, including the proper use of PPE, safe operation of powered equipment and safe lifting techniques as determined by the role.
• Be an active participant in contributing to a successful safety culture in the facility.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.
• CDL A Certification
• Hazmat and Doubles endorsements
• Minimum 1 year driving tractor/trailer combinations
• Knowledge of DOT regulations on equipment standards and inspections
