Drivers / Vehicle Operators Fort Bliss, TX & Camp Bullis, TX

Summary:

Drivers operate buses and tactical vehicles to support OPFOR role player movement and training scenarios. They must maintain proper licensing and comply with all safety requirements. Drivers at Fort Bliss must possess a valid CDL and drivers at Camp Bullis must have or be eligible to get a HMMWV/LMTV license.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate 42-45 passenger buses at Fort Bliss (CDL Class

B).
* Operate HMMWV and LMTV at Camp Bullis under Government licensing.
* Transport role players, cadre, and equipment.
* Maintain safe vehicle operations during field exercises.

Basic Qualifications:

* U.S. citizen.
* Secret security clearance.
* CDL Class B (Fort Bliss) or military-issued HMMWV/LMTV license (Camp Bullis).

Preferred Qualifications:

* ≥4 years driving experience in military or civilian capacity. Other Requirements:

All positions are performed on-site at Fort Bliss (DDGCRTC) or Camp Bullis (343 TRS) in support of live field training exercises. Personnel will operate in austere field environments, often during extended 12-hour training days, and must be able to carry loads of 40 pounds or more, stand or march for prolonged periods, and work safely with blank-fire weapons and tactical vehicles.

All contractor staff are designated mission- and emergency-essential, meaning they are required to report for duty during base closures, inclement weather, or other emergency conditions, and must sustain operations without interruption. Telework is not authorized under this contract, and personnel are expected to be physically present at the training sites as scheduled, with limited travel between locations or to headquarters if directed by the Government.

Vehicle Operations occur in austere offroad environments.
